Michael Jemat
Real name: Michael Jemat Anak Jimbat
The late Michael Jemat (19 September 1948 - 11 June 1999) was one of the most well known Iban singers since he began his career in the 1970s up until the 1990s. Some of his hit songs are Maya Pemisi Betemu Baru, Biar Aku Mati Di Tangan Sulu, Dara Baka Paras Gitar, Dara Moden, Burung Dalam Sangkar and many more. He was also a teacher.
