British electronic band, formed in Hartlepool, UK in the early 1990s by Chris Corner and Liam Howe.

Members through their history include Kelli Ali (vocals, occasional lyrics – under name Kelli Dayton), Joe Wilson (bass, guitar, occasional vocals), David Westlake (drums, programming), Ian Pickering (lyrics, occasional vocals, and bass on later live gigs). As of 2019, Simonne Jones joined efforts towards the proposed new album as the band's vocalist.

Other contributors to note are Chris Tate (occasional keyboards on later live gigs), and Noel Fielding (very occasional bass on later live gigs/IAMX cross-over period).

The group released three studio albums before ceasing activities, as core member Chris Corner turned his focus to his later solo project IAMX. In 2021, the group confirmed a reformation with plans to release new music, alongside a new website and social media outlets.
