Thomas Dinger, brother of Klaus Dinger, formed 1-A Düsseldorf together with Nils Kristiansen. Although their name is very similar to the former band of Thomas, La Dûsseldorf, their music sounds more experimental. They released 5 albums.
After the death of Thomas Dinger in 2002, Nils Kristiansen has completed the last album, Pyramidblau, with Viktoria Wehrmeister and Steffen Domnisch as a tribute to Thomas Dinger.
