Born 14 April 1955, and raised in Dublin, Ireland.
Irish drummer and percussionist, best known for his time spent with The Boomtown Rats. After the disbanding of The Boomtown Rats, Simon put together a band with fellow Rat Johnny Fingers called Gung~ho featuring Simon on lead vocals, and in 1987 they released a 3-track CD single featuring the title track "Play To Win". He is currently playing in a band called "The Pump Jockeys" with Garry Roberts.
