New Zealand trio Uncle Monkey are enjoying increasing success as they continue to promote their debut album 'Same Planet Different Orbit' and second album 'The Great Attractor'. They are a very popular choice for special events and private functions throughout the Wellington region.Public and industry support for the Wellington trio has gathered momentum with the band performing an impressive line-up of gigs in Australia and New Zealand.Since the band's formation in 1997, Uncle Monkey has won the Wellington Battle of the Bands, conducted a successful mini-world tour and performed at the New Zealand Songwriter Awards.
