東京放送管弦楽団
Studio orchestra of the Tokyo studios of NHK, Japan's national broadcaster. Formed in July 1931 by Hidemaro Konoe and Keizo Horiuchi, originally under the name コロナ室内管弦楽団. The orchestra was disbanded as a permanent orchestra in 1988, though the name is still used for ad hoc ensembles assembled for particular events.
