American accordion player of Polish descent (born October 16, 1881 in Watertown, Wisconsin, USA – died January 4, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA)

A Milwaukee policeman by day, Demenski / Deminenko was a skilled accordion player. In October and November 1912, he recorded 17 polkas, mazurkas, and other titles for Columbia in New York that were released over the next decade for the Polish, Russian, Ukrainian (Ruthenian), and Lithuanian market.
