During the 1915 Ottoman atrocities, his parents sent him to Italy to continue his education iat Murat-Raphaelian Armenian School in Venice
1923 - continue his musical studies at Milan Conservatory (graduated) and in Paris where he conducted wariosu choruses
In the fall of 1947, visited US for a series of appearances and conducted various orchestras
In December 14, 1947 died in Detroit of a heart attack, a day before he was scheduled to perform in the city
