Members: Aino Kurki, Anna Fält, Anne Kinnunen (2), Marjo Smolander, Nanna Nyholm, Johanna Rautiainen, Tiia Smolander

Finnish folk group formed in 1992 in Rääkkylä

Originally founded by a group of young girls, playing folk songs with the Finnish national instrument kantele. In 2008, Johanna Rautiainen (kantele, vocals) and Marjo Smolander (kantele, vocals) were the only remaining original members, with Yerim Gueye (percussion) and Anna Fält (accordion, vocals) completing the line-up. The group was eventually renamed to Rääsen, and their album "Rääkkylä - Senegal" came out in 2010.
