Austrian composer, conductor, teacher and musician. He played clarinet from age 12, studied French horn and double bass at the Tyrolean conservatory in Innsbruck. He continued his studies in Munich until 1965. Meanwhile, he played regularily with Militärmusik Von Tirol, Tiroler Symphonieorchester Innsbruck and Stadtmusikkapelle Wilten. He conducted Bundesbahnmusikkapelle Innsbruck. He was awarded several official honors for his achievements in the field of folk music and brass band music. He also worked for ORF Studio Tirol.
