Lennart Lundberg

Swedish pianist, composer and piano teacher, born 29 September 1863 in Norrköping, died 27 July 1931

He was a student at the Stockholm Conservatory of Music 1881–1886 and then a teacher there 1903–1928, professor 1913. He studied for Hilda Thegerström, Conrad Nordqvist, Joseph Dente and further for the Chopin student Madame Camille Dubois and Ignaz Paderewski. His students include Märtha Ohlson, Stina Sundell, Sven Brandel, Uno Sundelin, Gunnar de Frumerie, Algot Haquinius and Olof Wibergh.

Lennart Lundberg was elected as member no. 514 of the Royal Academy of Music on April 28, 1904. [4] He is buried in Matteus Cemetery in Norrköping.

Piano compositions include: (4 sonatas and approx. 80 pieces with titles like prelude, ballad and barcarole) and 14 songs.
