Iván Villazón (born October 25, 1959, in Valledupar, Cesar) is a Colombian singer and songwriter of Vallenato music. His musical career dates back to 1984. He has recorded 33 albums throughout his trajectory and has been nominated for the Latin Grammy three times, winning the award seven times with the "Congo de Oro."
