Manuel Napuri
Producer/DJ PQM (AKA Prince Quick Mix/Manuel Napuri) was one half of Hip Hop outfit Nubian Crackers, born in Queens, New York and relocated to Melbourne, Australia in the late 90's before passing away on March 15th, 2021 due to complications with ALS.
His releases "The Flying Song" and "The K Song" on Renaissance and Yoshitoshi Records gathered momentum in 2003 thanks to a collaboration with Luke Chable and remixes of "You Are Sleeping". Among his personal success he also recorded & produced the vocals for Steve Lawler's "Rise In", which reached #50 on the UK Singles chart as well as being included on many mix comps by James Holden, Hernan Cattaneo, Phil K and Deep Dish to name a few.
