Founder and lead singer of punk band SNFU. Chinn was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1962 and died in Vancouver, BC on July 16, 2020.
Chinn formed his first punk band Live Sex Shows in Edmonton in 1981. The group evolved into Society's No Fucking Use, a band that eventually shortened their name to SNFU. In 1990, Chi moved to Vancouver and formed a second incarnation of SNFU, which continued until 2005, he formed a new incarnation in 2007. While in Vancouver he also formed the short lived group The Wongs, they played locally and recordings of the band exist.
