Formed in 1966, the Hacker Family began singing for the Lord. The group consists of Chester and Joyce Hacker and their three sons Steve, Bryan and Randy. They sang at church, homecomings, singspirations and revivals. In 1970 Maxine Shelton joined the group but they continued using the name Hacker Family. They disbanded in 1978.
