Formed in 1954, in Philadelphia, as The Cavaliers. They were one of the few r'n'b vocal groups with a female lead, Yvonne Mills, later Yvonne Baker.
Their first line up 1954 - 1961: Yvonne Mills (lead), Tommy Wicks (tenor), Tommy Cooke (baritone), Alphonso Howell (bass)
Their second line up 1961 - 1963: Yvonne Baker (lead), Richard Curtain (tenor), Sam Armstrong (baritone), Alphonso Howell (bass)
