Indie/Rock/Glam/Electro/Disco/House band from Paris, France.
Originally signed to Catalogue Records in 2003.
In 2005, both the drummer and the bass player left the band to tour with a major signed French pop act. But the band heads back into an important national tour - The Inrockuptibles Magazine 2005 tour - with Yann Destal from French touch band Modjo on drums. The Catalogue Records adventure comes to an end in 2006 as the label shuts down. Meanwhile, Playground's lead singer Firouz Farman gets involved in the Parisian scene multiplying electro-rock DJ sets in various downtown clubs under the name Playground Soundsystem.
In 2007, Farman moves to London and founds StarLab Rex, signing Playground to his home label.
