Confluence is a Bilbao(Spain) band composed by Irrintzi Ibarrola (voice and acoustic guitar), Jorge Gros (guitar), Carlos Jover (harmonica), Miguel Ramírez (bass) and Eduardo Landeta (drums). This band is the result of the confluence of Jazz, blues and Pop musicians who have decided to put their veteran service to the themes composed by Irrintzi Ibarrola. His music smells of saltpeter, delta, essences from Memphis, Mississippi, San Francisco, Gallarta and the South Seas. In his songs, the influence of artists to whom the band pays homage, such as Redding, Sun Ra, Waits, Taj Mahal, Dylan, Bruce, Sting, Mingus or Hiatt appear in a sometimes subtle and sometimes resounding way.
