Real name: Brent William Grulke

Road manager, sound engineer and creative director of music conference South By Southwest. Born January 25, 1961 and died August 13, 2012.
Grulke moved to Austin, Texas in 1979 where he began as a music writer, moving into live sound engineering and studio production. He put together the Austin compilation Various - Bands On The Block and toured with the bands Wild Seeds, Doctors' Mob, True Believers, and The Reivers as a road manager and sound man. He worked a stage manager and showcase production manager for South By Southwest and music editor of the Austin Chronicle. After working for Spindletop Records in Los Angeles, Grulke returned to Austin in 1994 and became creative director for SXSW.
