Curtis Stone
American songwriter and bass player. Son of Cliffie Stone. Brother of Steve Stone.
He is a founding member of the country band, "Highway 101".
As a session player, Stone worked with Ronnie Tutt, James Burton and Glen Dee Hardin, Steve Cropper, Johnny Rivers, Jay Dee Maness, and Hal Blaine, among others.
He played on records by Tennessee Ernie Ford, Freddy Hart, David Cassidy, Barry Mann, Dorsey Burnett and Rocky Burnett.
He worked for producers Terry Melcher and Bruce Johnston, Brian Wilson and Leon Russell.
