Mystic Anima is a music producer and DJ, who draws inspiration from nature and ancient mystic knowledge.
At an early age, she began singing and playing instruments such as guitar and bass, making music with rock/metal bands, in the meantime she got initiated to electronic music, such as techno, and later on psychedelic trance.
While living in Montreal, she went on an inner spiritual journey, to seek a meaning to her existence. During that period of time, she discovered Yoga and eastern mysticism.
As a young girl, she had always been intrigued by the human nature and its complexity, that led her to study Psychology and Addictology, exploring the use/misuse of substances and psychedelic medicine.
When she started attending parties, she found herself in awe due to the powerful impact of Sound, she realized the therapeutic potential inherent in dance, particularily in trance dance. After all, isn’t the whole universe dancing ? We are part of a cosmic dance where there is harmony between systems that are so strongly interdependent that they behave as a single entity. That is what mystic anima aims to recreate through her music, she tells the story of human race from a timeless space, where sound is used as a mirror allowing us to tap into the collective unconscious mind, beyond the Ego, and externalize our inner worlds.
Her lastest release « Bardo Thodol » featured on the « AJNA » VA on Visionnary Shamanics records (UK), is the debut of her first album coming out soon.
