Members: Craig Montoro, Byron Westbrook, John Thomas Robinette III, Mark Duplass

Started as a solo project of Mark Duplass, Volcano, I'm Still Excited!! coalesced into a band in 2002 with the addition of Byron Westbrook and John Thomas Robinette III, at which point the band recorded their debut EP and toured extensively. In 2003, the band recorded their debut album for Polyvinyl Record Company, minus Westbrook and with the addition of Craig Montoro.

The band has been inactive since 2004, as Duplass transitioned to filmmaking and the other members moved on to other projects.
