Ukrainian vocal-instrumental ensemble formed in 1963 in Lviv, by Ukrainian composer Мирослав Скорик. The composer wrote a number of popular songs for the group, pioneering a style which combined Ukrainian intonations and words with Western rhythms of jazz, blues, tango, and bossa-nova — which were not very well known in Soviet Ukraine during that time. Skoryk accompanied the group on piano.
