Japanese jazz and kayōkyoku singer. Born January 3, 1938 in Ibaragi prefecture. Starting singing professionally at the New Latin Quarter club in Tokyo in 1961. In 1965, she married the musician Hiroshi Okazaki in 1965 - they later divorced.
