Harsh Mistress is a project created by Noise artists Robert Ferent of Boston, Massachusetts and IDX1274 of Oregon. Robert Ferent is responsible for all digital manipulations and IDX1274 is responsible for all analog sources. The pair first collaborated on the album À La Dérive Sur Les Océans Embryonnaires under their own names.
