The Henry Threadgill Sextet (actually a septet; two drummers were counted as a single percussion unit) were a jazz ensemble formed In the early 1980s by Henry Threadgill. The group recorded three albums on the About Time Records label and three albums on the Novus label. The Novus album Easily Slip Into Another World was recorded by the Sextett, but released as by Henry Threadgill.
