A Finnish band founded in 1981 by Jari Yliaho, Paavo Kaihola (both formerly in Donna (12)) and Jari Loisa (formerly in Sister (4). Siberia released a few singles on Q label but the label was disbanded in autumn 1982. They started to record their first album without a record contract and soon they signed with Poko Rekords. The first album was out in April 1983. They released one EP (out in January 1984) on Poko before signing with Polarvox Oy. At the same time the band added a keyboard player, Kari Suosalmi, to their lineup. Their second album was out in 1984 and on summer 1985 the band announced they quit. Siberia made a short comeback in the mid 1990s and released their third album in 1995.
