Saxophonist Stefan Wistrand formed The Electric MZ in spring 2013 in order to explore new, more rhythm oriented, compositions. A music that draws its inspiration from jazz, rock, funk, electronica and more, and resulting in a brew, that has both an emotional depth and a solid danceable groove. The musicians in the band have experience from bands like Memento Mori, Yvonne, Nods Off, Funky Friends, Broder Daniel, The Domus, Two Sounds Ensemble, Fundamental Form, to name but a few.
