Benny Génsbøl, born 15 August 1933, died 30 July 2005, was a Danish school inspector and one of the most skilled Danish bird experts and a very active author of countless bird books. Since 1955 a member of Dansk Ornitologisk Forening and since 1987 a member of the main board.
