John Mills

Dr. John Mills is an American saxophonist and composer/arranger in Austin, Texas. He is a professor of jazz composition and jazz saxophone at the University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music and leads the jazz fusion ensemble Times Ten.
Mills has performed with jazz artists including Steve Swallow, Carla Bley, Butch Miles, Kenny Wheeler and Maria Schneider. He has worked on stage and in studio with Bonnie Raitt, Dr. John, Aretha Franklin, David Byrne, Johnny Greenwood, Ray Benson and Asleep At The Wheel, Lyle Lovett, and Willie Nelson.
