Effective period / Period of releases: 1984 - 1991

The choir was formed in 1953. Members are drawn from a radius of about ten miles from Harlech, an area where the Welsh language is still widely spoken by the majority. The choir often holds concerts in the locaility and has raised many thousands of pounds for local charities during its long history.
In recent years the choir has travelled to Scotland, Brittany, Denmark, and Austria; also to England, Ireland.
