Effective period / Period of releases: 1914 - 1926
Česká Selská Kapela (Czech Peasant Band) was the name of a New York-based band, possibly a Columbia studio band, that recorded Czech folk music (polkas, sousedskas, pochods) for Columbia between 1913 and 1922.This ensemble is unlikely to be identical with another outfit of the same name that recorded a number of titles in 1910 in Berlin for The Gramophone Co. Ltd..
