Heroes Are Gang Leaders is an avant-garde/experimental jazz band comprised of eight dynamic interdisciplinary artists looking to redefine the concept of music/sound and its relationship to instrument and literary text. There are several narratives running through the vein of HAGL, it is comprised of 10 musicians, poets and singers, each having made significant contributions in their respective fields.
