Real name: Herzel Kabilio
Herzl Kabilio (1951-1986) was a renowned footballer and Israeli singer. Born in Iraq, he moved to Israel as a child and rose to prominence as a goalkeeper for Maccabi Jaffa in the 1970s. He later represented the Israeli national team. Kabilio also made a mark in music with his song "Another Sabbath of Football." Despite leaving Maccabi Jaffa in 1983 due to financial disputes, he remained a beloved figure. Tragically, he battled cancer and passed away in 1986. In 2008, fans of the team resurrected it as a supporters' group called "Maccabi Kabilio Jaffa" in his memory, honoring the legendary team goalkeeper.
