Da Pawn was born in 2011 as a project created and promoted by his guitarist and vocalist Mauro Samaniego, and in 2012 with the incorporation of Pedro Ortiz (3) (drums), Martín Samaniego (guitar and arrangements), Fernando Procel (bass), Alejandro Naranjo (2) (guitar) and Felipe Andino (keyboards) the band Da Pawn enters as a new alternative music proposal.
In 2014, the band released their first EP called Da Pawn - El Peon, then in 2016 the band released their album called Da Pawn - Verano En Coma and in 2018 the band released their next album in physical and digital format called Da Pawn - Pistola De Balín .
