Jazz group assembled by Dennis Gonzalez during a visit to London. His dream was to put together a group like Elton Dean had done on his album Boundaries. All members of the Elton Dean Quintet who played on 'Boundaries' were invited, except Marc Charig, who was then living in Germany.
The music of the group was composed, and the recording sessions planned, by Gonzalez during a period of twelve months before they could convene all together. And the group actually existed only for a few hours, the time it took them to rehearse and record their album 'Catechism'.
