Psychedelic/country rock band from Black Oak, Arkansas, USA, formed 1963. After releasing a few singles, and years of continuous gigging throughout the south, the band released their lone self titled LP "The Knowbody Else" in October 1969. It was issued on the Hip Records label, who were a subsidiary of Stax Records. Shortly after the release of the LP, The Knowbody Else changed their name to Black Oak Arkansas.
