German bassist, born 1988 in Bad Tölz, Bavaria, Germany
After graduating from school he moved to Berlin to study at the Jazz Institute with Greg Cohen, Kurt Rosenwinkel and John Hollenbeck. He was a DAAD scholar (German Academic Exchange Service) and graduated from Manhattan School of Music in New York with a Master of Music degree, where he studied with Jay Anderson, Phil Markowitz and David Liebman.
