Bruce Guthro (born August 31, 1961, died September 5, 2023) was a Canadian singer / songwriter, from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Guthro had recorded as a solo artist and in 1998 joined Scottish folk rock band Runrig, whilst still pursuing his solo career. Guthro received several ECMA's (East Coast Music Awards), and was also host of Canadian TV show 'Songwriters Circle.'
