Real name: Zoltan Zombori & Ferenc Hóbor

Darpa is formed by Zoltan Zombori and Ferenc Hóbor, they are living in the south-eastern part of Hungary. They first encounter with drum and bass was in the year 2001 in their hometown Szeged. It was love at the first sight with the fast and complicated drums and the solid deep basslines. After this, they started collecting records and practiced how to mix them. In 2004 they became members of Smoke Break crew, which was founded by they friends. In the next years Smoke Break provided the series Resound to Szeged with their own dj’s and well known or emerging names like Concord dawn, State of mind, Fourward, Chris.SU, Jade, Mindscape. These producers are also where (mostly) the music inspiration is coming from, so Zoltan and Ferenc started producing but for home use only. After a few year of break, in 2015 finally they built their home studio and lifted the production to a higher level and since that they working under the name Darpa. After few demo tunes sent around, in November 2016 Darpa debuted on MAINFRAME recordings with their first single.
