Veteran of many Cincinnati, OH indie rocks bands.

In 1978 he was in his first band called Men Without Bones, afterwards he was in The Lunchbuddies and BPA, who kicked him out because he didn't know how to play guitar and would tune all the strings to the same note. In the 1980s he played in a band called Gomez. In 2010 Chuck started a new folk band called Painwater with Billy Catfish and a member of The Fairmount Girls.
