Real name: Galileu de Arruda dos Santos

Galileu de Arruda dos Santos (Porto Alegre, March 21, 1953 – Porto Alegre, April 27, 2012), or Galileu Arruda, as he is known, was a Brazilian composer, singer, lyricist and publicist. He began his musical career professionally in 1971, when he won the award for best performer with the song Ítala, at the 1st Musi-Puc, a festival that also revealed Fernando Ribeiro, José Fogaça and the duo Kleiton and Kledir.
