Biography
Kersi Lord
Indian composer, arranger and musician from Parsi decent (14 February 1935 – 16 October 2016).
Played percussion, drums, keyboards and accordion. Side man of R.D. Burman on synth and added effects to flute & other instruments if required. Played a self built synth (Seetha aur Geetha) until he introduced the mini moog in 1973 in Bollywood.
Arranged Saathi, Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho from Hanste Zakhm, wrote & arranged back ground music for Shamilar and Aamne Saamne.
Son of Cawas Lord, percussionist, who introduced Latin percussion in the Indian film music. Brother of Buji Lord.
