Georg Hering-Marsal
Georg Hering-Marsal (* January 13th, 1909 Dresden / Germany, † March 11th, 1974 Schruns / Vorarlberg / Austria). He was a music teacher, choir director and composer.
At first he was a violinist of the famous Dresden Philharmonic and emigrated to Brazil in 1934.
Marsal came to Vorarlberg in 1944 during the war, where he found a wide range of duties as the director of various choirs in Röthis, Hohenems, Lustenau and Dornbirn.
