Wang Shun Xian was a former soloist for the China National Film Orchestra (later known as The China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra). He plays various Chinese instruments & won many Chinese national music awards. He has recorded more than 80 soundtracks for film & TV programmes.
In 1989 he was invited to play at the 'Womad' world music festival in England, after which he settled in the UK to develop his musical repertoire.
