She was an entertainer and singer in her earlier years, and she went by the stage name of Gini Patton.
She performed mostly in the Chicago, Illinois area. She performed at the Ye Olde Cellar in Chicago, Illinois performing with Jay Burkhart and Jimmy McShane. She appeared on TV and radio with Mal Bellairs on many occasions. She was featured on the Music Wagon and Josh Brady radio shows. She was on the Arthur Godfrey Show and toured the country in a group called Banbelloc. She performed at the Congress Plaza Hotel Glass Hat Supper Club. She was the voice of Elsie the Cow in a few TV commercials. She toured the country with her husband in another group called Function Junction 5. She also worked with the Dawnaires vocal-instrumental group.
