Ernest Shackleton

Real name: Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton

Anglo-Irish explorer and one of the principal figures of Antarctic exploration. He was born 15 February 1874 in Kilkea, County Kildare, Ireland and died 5 January 1922 in South Georgia, Falkland Islands Dependencies.
Officer (OBE) - Order of the British Empire.
Commander (CVO) - Royal Victorian Order.
Fellow (FRGS) - Royal Geographic Society.
