Born 1971 in Southampton, England. In the early 90's, Roger "Wildchild" McKenzie was the acclaimed producer of the heavy sample-loaded "Wildtrax" series released through Loaded Records. In 1994 he started his own label Dark Black Recordings, & in 1995 he released the ep Legends of the Dark Black Part 2 featuring the highly influential track Renegade Master. These were quickly snapped up by Hi Life Recordings for commercial release; both the ep & 'Renegade Master' as a single, just before he died prematurely on Nov. 25, 1995. He was married to Donna Snell
