Os Demitidos were Jorge Palma live band, formed in 2005, the name translated as The Dismissed was a reference to a song with the same name from his album "Norte" and to most of it's members having left their previous groups, Marcos Nunes the guitarist had left Blind Zero, Miguel Barros the bass player and André Hollanda the drummer had both been in Zen, leaving Miguel Ferreira from Clã and Blind Zero the only one that hadn't left any of his groups. The four musicians can be heard on Jorge Palma live record "Voo Nocturno Ao Vivo", recorded on the 20th and 21st of November 2007.
