Hedvig Charlotta Nordenflycht
Swedish author, born 28 November 1718 in Stockholm, died 29 June 1763 in Skokloster parish.
She was the daughter of the chamberlain in Kammarkollegium Anders Andersson Nordbohm (knighted under the name Nordenflycht) and Christina Rosin. She is sometimes considered to have been Sweden's first feminist and is considered one of the 18th century's foremost Swedish poets. She is also unique in that she was one of the first Swedish women who could support herself on her writing.
